Building Self-Esteem, Strength
1984, the first Baby Ballerinas put on their tutus and their new
shoes, toddled onto the stage and stole the audience's heart. Since
then, thousands of students have grown into poised, confident dancers
at Stella's Dancers' Studio.
The goal of founder and owner Stella Palumbo
is to develop your child physically, mentally and emotionally
through a warm, family atmosphere that enhances the dancer's self-esteem
and confidence. Parents are encouraged to observe their
children in class.
Trained by the prestigious Dance Educators
of America, Stella is a member of the Professional Dance Teachers
Association and Florida Dance Masters, two organizations with
rigorous membership qualifications. With a dedicated, professional
staff of 15, Stella's Dancers' Studio offers a full schedule of
dance activities for children ages 2 1/2 through adult.
Classes are offered in jazz, tap, ballet,
pointe, adult ballroom, adult conditioning, hip hop, musical theater, lyrical, technique and competition.

Benefits of Dance Instruction
Because dance is fun, it accomplishes
what many exercise programs do not -- the establishment of a long-term
habit of fitness. Dance builds strength, balance, cardiovascular
fitness, agility and flexibility, which are health benefits enjoyed
by dancers of all age groups and ability levels.
With the support and guidance of experienced,
caring teachers, Stella's Dancers gain a sense of achievement and
self-confidence with the mastery of each new skill.
Through our Illusion Dance Company, we emphasize
developing strong technique to prepare for a professional career,
for the serious student.
Proper dance attire is required, and will
vary by class. An assortment of affordably priced dancewear, shoes
and tights are available for purchase at the studio.
Dress for combination class students is
a Stella's Dancers' leotard and pink tights, with ballet and tap
shoes. Hair should be neatly pulled away from the face. Modesty
is expected; dancers should arrive and leave the studio dressed
in appropriate cover-ups.
Student is a Star
Some children come to Stella's Dancers'
just because they like moving to the beat or learning new tricks
