Growth Through Performing The Benefits of the Recital Each May, the students at Stella's Dancers' Studio participate in our annual recital. The culmination of the year's work, the recital is presented at Broward Community College, Omni Auditorium, in Coconut Creek with an 1,900-seat theater that regularly hosts professional productions. Family and friends are treated to dance numbers ranging from classical ballet to musical theater, and can point with pride to the progress and achievements made by all the students since the beginning of the instruction year.

Performing on stage before an audience is a significant step in building a young person's self-esteem. The time and effort spent perfecting a dance for performance teaches valuable lesson in discipline, teamwork, and working toward a long-term goal.

From the delight of wearing a stunning costume to the thrill of the crowd's applause, dancing in the recital is an experience your child will always remember -- and so will you.

    The Illusion Dance Company

A dedicated troupe of intermediate to advanced dancers, the Illusion Dance Company competes regionally and nationally, and has won countless championships. Members of the company have been selected to perform in the Super Bowl pre-game show, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Aloha Bowl, and at Walt Disney World. Auditions are held in the fall.

Through an emphasis on proper technique and the joy of dance, founder and director Stella Palumbo instills the self-esteem and the successful attitude that are the foundation of this nationally ranked company. The Illusion Dancers also perform at local hospitals, nursing homes and community events.
